I originally set out to have this blog/site be for showcasing freeware I use and thereby can recommend.
But I also wanted to list freeware I have discovered and also want to recommend (in addition to my own list of ‘must have’ freeware that I always install on each machine I use).
But as with all great plans, or should I say – great intentioned plans, I didn’t fully plan things so as to accomplish my planned goal.
In other words, I have approximately 220 ‘must have’ freeware progs/apps I want to list, but I also have a rough draft list of 500 (give or take a hundred or so..) freeware that I am either testing or have set in my queue to test…long story short – I am logjammed, and it is showing up in a lack of daily updates and additions here on the Freeware Asylum. But I am brainstorming how to streamline things…..and when that solution to break up the logjam happens, things will smooth out the backlog.
Yes sometimes it is true that those who fail to plan, thereby plan to fail....so I am scrapping my initial plan, and drawing up a new plan....
