Site of the Month - April 2010

The Portable Freeware Collection is a top notch site, for of all things, portable freeware.
The site is regularly added to (and updated), as well as having very active and lively forums.

As this site (albiet - blog) is just beginning to take a more complete form, you may notice some of the layout to be in flux. This is due to my testing different elements to - through 'trial and error' determine how things shape up.

From the developer's site, "WipeFile erases files and folders secure and fast.
WipeFile overwrites the information completely, so there is no way to undelete the files or reconstruct the file content.
WipeFile supports 14 different wipe methods, e.g. two US Navy standards, the standard of the US Department of Defence, US Airforce and the NATO."

Editor's Note : You have the option to set the language for the program (as illustarted in the above screenshot). Also you have the option to set the program to run via context menu(s).
